Many of us wonder about what we can do right now to in the face of climate change, peak fossil fuels and the other big challenges of this century. The fact is, taking action—whether it's starting a new community undertaking or breaking old personal habits—is far easier with a litte inspiration. Fortunately, inspiration is all around us in the form of people committed to reducing their impact and leading simpler, smarter, better lives.

If you'd like to share a story of what you are DOING RIGHT NOW (ideas and business plans are wonderful, but this is not the space for them) with the rest of us, we'd love to hear it. Every month, we also feature selected stories in our newsletter. Please submit your personal stories only. While we endorse sustainable business practices, we're seeking inspirational, replicable tales of individual action.
